The 2021 Chevy Tahoe is eligible for three engines. The first is a 5.3-liter V8 engine that comes standard on all but the top-of-the-line High Country model, which is equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine. The base engine generates 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque while the other unit produces 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque.An optional turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine is available on all but the Z71 trim. This engine produces 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. The diesel and the two V8 engines are all paired with a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission.
How Much Cargo Room Does the SUV Have?
With seats for seven or eight passengers depending the on configuration of the second row, the new Chevy Tahoe still has plenty of room for gear. Behind the third row, you’ll find 25.5 cubic feet of cargo room. If you fold the third row, the cargo hold increases to 72.6 cubic feet.
